Get started in three steps

From zero to your first working tool in about two minutes. No coding needed.

  1. 1

    Get your license

Your license looks like LIC-…, arrives by email and works with every tool.

  2. 2

    Install uv, once

uv downloads and runs the tools in isolation on your machine. Only needed for local mode; the remote connector needs nothing. Open a terminal and run the command for your system:

    macOS and Linux · Terminal
    curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh
    Windows · PowerShell
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Then close and reopen your client so it finds uvx.

  3. 3

Add the tools to your client

Paste your license and copy the config with all 5 tools at once. For a single tool with one-click install, use the picker on the home page.

  4. Check it

Ask your agent: how many credits do I have left? It uses the free credits_balance tool and tells you your balance.

    The tools don't show up

Fully restart the client (on Windows, also quit it from the system tray). Check that uvx --version works in a new terminal.

It says the license is not valid

Make sure you copied the whole license, with no spaces, into KEYFLINT_LICENSE. Still failing? Email support@keyflint.dev.

    I ran out of credits

The tool returns a top-up link. Top-ups are added to the same license, so you don't change any config.
